Challenges
Spring is an important time for pollinators, as they emerge from winter hibernation or shelter to gather essential resources. Help Budburst investigate what plants pollinators prefer during this important time of year!
To make your observation report follow these simple steps:
Log into your Budburst Account
Submit a pollinator observation for a native plant or its nativar using your handheld device or record your observations on a pollinator observation sheet and post your findings later.
Track your data
Check your data from previous years in your Budburst Account, or view data from other observers using the Data search page. Are you starting to see a pattern in the plants spring pollinators prefer?
All observation reports are helpful in understanding whether nativars provide the same resources for pollinators as their wild cousins.
The goal of this challenge is to collect at least 500 observations from around the country (that's only 10 per state!). Watch for updates and track observations as they are reported.
